Problem of the Week

I want to recognize Tommy for solving his 2nd problem of the week (in a very short amount of time)! I am very impressed. See if you can solve this week's problem of the week:

Jacob lives on a farm, and the nearby river is due to flood his farm after the upcoming storm. Jacob needs to transport his animals and food across the river before the flood. Jacob has a small rowboat that has only enough space for Jacob and either his dingo, his bunny, or his basket of carrots. Jacob has a problem. If he leaves the bunny alone with the carrots, the bunny will eat the carrots. If Jacob leaves the bunny alone with the dingo, the dingo will eat the bunny. How can Jacob get his dingo, his bunny, and his carrots across the river (intact)?

I was able to come out to our basketball game against Redlands Christian and was so proud of my amazingly talented students! (And I got to see them win!) Thank you, Mr. Thompson for being a great coach.

7th Grade 50/50 Raffle

Please help our students with the cost of their trip up the coast to San Francisco by buying tickets for the 50/50 raffle! The raffle will be Friday, March 15th. Whoever wins gets 1/2 of the total ticket money! You can buy tickets from the office and sell them on your own, as long as you return the money before the raffle. This is a great and easy way to fundraise! The prices are as follows: 1 ticket for $1, or 10 tickets for $5, or 25 tickets for $10. Anyone can buy tickets from the office :)
