Bunnies - 3 Weeks Old

They are now eating hay, pellets, and drinking water.

They are hopping faster and getting very good at grooming themselves. 

Bunnies - Day 10

Today (day 10) most of the baby bunnies' eyes have opened. They are starting to hop around more, but still sleep most of the day in a huddle.

Between Shades of Grey by Ruta Sepetys

15-year-old Lina and her family are taken from their home in Lithuania by the Russian NKVD in the middle of the night.  They are shoved, along with other Lithuanians, into a crowded train car for a months-long journey to Siberia, where they are to become slaves.  The brutality against these innocent people will shock and sadden you.  Amidst the hardship, Lina meets a 17-year-old boy named Andrius who is a tremendous help to her and her family.  Will Lina and her family ever escape Siberia and return to their beloved Lithuania?

Baby Bunnies - 1 Week Old

So Archimedes and the 6th grade bunny (Titanus) had a litter of baby bunnies (by accident).  We will be very careful to make sure this doesn't happen again! The seven babies were born June 29th and will be available to adopt when they are 8 weeks old, which will be August 24th.  If anyone is interested in adopting, please contact me.  Here is a picture of the seven (very cute) babies at 1 week old! Their eyes should be opening within the next few days.  They love to burrow tunnels in the nest.
