Thanksgiving Feast Sign-Up

This sheet will be posted outside our classroom on Tuesday 11/12.  Please sign up for something so we can make this a great and memorable class party.  Feel free to text/call me to sign up for something or have your child sign up for you. We could also use a few parents to set up.  Thank you, parents!

Week of Nov. 12th-15th

• Monday - No school! Veteran's Day. Remember to thank a veteran.
• Wednesday - Honor Roll Chapel.  Students receiving Honor Roll will get a letter to take home on Tuesday.
• Wednesday/Thursday -  Life Science Chapter 5 Test. Remember to study!
• Friday - Twin Day! Come dressed the same as a friend.  This is a great opportunity for yearbook pictures :)
  

Electronic Waste Recycling Fundraiser

Do you have any old electronics sitting around the house or in your garage that you no longer use? This Saturday, 11/9, we will be having an electronic waste recycling fundraiser to benefit the 8th grade class from 9am to 3pm.  You can drop off items at the school on Friday or Saturday. Thanks!

Most Common Electronic Items Accepted:
Computer monitors, TVs, LCDs, Plasma TVs, Laptops, PCs, Copiers, Scanners, cameras, stereos, VCRs, cell phones, fax machines, vacuums, DVD players, any unwanted electronics that plug in or use batteries.  Large appliances will also be accepted.

Week of Oct. 28th - Nov. 1st

This week...

• Literature essay due Thursday, worth 125 points! Must be 2 pages. Make sure to follow directions so you don't lose points.
• History test Thursday (Ancient Rome)
• Math test (Chapter 3) Friday. After school help will be available Tuesday and Thursday this week to practice for the test.
• Science extra credit essay due Friday. Requirements will be passed out tomorrow.
• End of the quarter is Friday. All missing assignments must be turned in by then.
• Half day Friday! Students will be dismissed at 11:30am.
