Bullfrog Tadpoles

To go along with our chapter on vertebrates, we are raising 6 bullfrog tadpoles!  They currently breathe with gills and have tiny, non-functioning hind legs and no front legs.  We'll watch the metamorphosis into adult bullfrogs over time. Did you know a female bullfrog can lay as many as 20,000 eggs?
