Packing List
Warm, comfortable clothes for five days.
A light jacket. A sweatshirt.
A bathing suit.
Stuff to keep your teeth, hair, and body clean and shiny.
A Bible.
Comfy shoes.
Please do not bring those things that annoy the Principal...
No hand held video games. No iPods.
Kindles? I am a fan of reading, but I am not a fan of lost expensive electronics. Because this is a seventh grade trip, I’ll say yes. Two words... Protect it!
Don’t forget a Bible.
Cell phones? Keep ‘em hidden. No random, frivolous texting. Misuse a phone, lose a phone. The trip is about gratitude, so you will be encouraged to call your parents often to thank them for being great people who love you and who have sacrificed greatly for you.
Money for five, fast food lunches.
Money for souvenirs. But the trip is about gratitude and not about you and stuff and things you wont use when you get home. More will be said about this on the trip, but some money for worthy mementoes is encouraged.
If you still have it and still like it, bring the Bible Mrs. Barr gave you. It’s okay to bring two Bibles if another one is your favorite.
